The Syrian Social-Nationalist Party, SSNP, has issued a statement following the events in Syria and the fall of the Syrian government. 1- As a result of the fall of the former regime, work must be done in finding a solution acceptable to our people in Syria and an authority sprouting from the will of the Syrian people, preserving the country's unity, society, interests, institutions and Palestine as the compass.

Hussein al-Bana, the first Syrian Social-Nationalist comrade to martyr in our struggle against the zionist project, passed 86 years ago today.

Al-Bana was a fighter in the SSNP's "Whirlwind Brigade" which fought the British-backed Zionist project in Northern Palestine in 1936. Born in 1903, Hussein Ali al-Bana was the son of a struggling family from Charoun, Lebanon.

Al-Bana, first a member of the Communist Party, joined the SSNP after meeting the poet and SSNP Trustee Ojaj el Mohtar(in the image below) and learning more about the movement.

The SSNP held a preparatory meeting in Beirut, titled "One Party Towards the Stage of Struggle" to discuss plans for next year's General National Congress. The SSNP President Rabi Banat discussed the recent developments in the region, the Turkish expansion in Northern Syria and Iraq, the economic collapse in Lebanon and the attempts to create rift and strife in Iraq.

40 years ago today, the comrade Habib Shartouni executed the Phalangist war criminal and zionist collaborater Bachir Gemayel. Bachir's father, Pierre Gemayel, founded the Kataeb party, inspired by the Nazi Party and the Spanish fascist Falange Party.

Pierre Gemayel visited Berlin in 1936, & said:

"I saw then this discipline and order. And I said to myself: "Why can't we do the same thing in Lebanon?"

"Sa´adeh, who had mastered several languages, carried out extensive research in numerous languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic) in order to accomplish this comprehensive study.

The SSNP Branch of Palestine published this series of images to raise awareness on the role of the "Jewish Agency for Israel" organization in settling Jewish immigrants in occupied Palestine since it's foundation. The idea of the Jewish Agency was devised by Theodor Herzl during the "First Zionist Congress" in Basel, Switzerland, 1897, with the goal of bringing Jews from around the world to Palestine.

Officially founded in 1908, and enlisted in the 1922 British Mandate command paper.

Antoun Khalil Saadeh Moujaes was born on the 1st of March of 1904 in Dhour El Choueir, Mount Lebanon, for Khalil Saadeh & Nayfeh Naseer Khneisser.
