सनातन धर्म sanātana dharma
Bharat is the land of in which this Dharma is nurtured in all its aspects. It is the very intrinsic life of the Bharatiyas. It encompasses everything that leads to the Divine. It seeks the eternal reality and is never satisfied with anything temporal. 1 The fundamental Truth about Sanatana Dharma is that there is only One Reality, ekam sat, which manifests in various forms. This Dharma, therefore is not confined to one single path, single form, single book, single institution. It keeps the Divine at the Center of everything. 2

Mokshapata - The Original Snakes and Ladder Game.

This game was created by the 13th century saint-poet Gyandev. It was originally called ‘Mokshapata’. Later it became popular in the name of Gyan Chaupar. The other names of this game are: Leelaa, Muktipata or Paramapada. 1 The ladders in the game represented virtues and the snakes indicated vices. The game was played with cowrie shells and dices. In time, the game underwent several modifications, but its meaning remained the same: good deeds take people to heaven and evil to a cycle of re-births. 2

“The Western attack is not confined to a breaking down of the forms of Eastern culture; there is at the same time a large, subtle and silent appropriation of much that is valuable in the East for the enrichment of occidental culture. + Therefore to bring forward the glories of our past and scatter on Europe and America as much of its treasures as they will receive, will not save us. +

OM - The EKAKSHARA BRAHMAN (एकाक्षर ब्रह्मन् )

The sound OM (ॐ) is the most powerful one among all other sounds. It is indeed the source of all. As per the spiritual tradition of Bharat everything in this creation is born out of OM - ओङ्कारप्रभवं सर्वं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्. n/1 The Divine Mother of Sri Aurobindo Ashram says - "OM is the signature of the Lord." What a profound meaning!!! Nothing happens in this creation without HIS sanction, HIS signature, and that signature is OM (तस्य वाचकः प्रणवः - Patanjali Yogasutra, 1.25). n/2

Sanskrit has been made unnecessarily difficult

1. Some ran away from the Sanskrit class when they were introduced the Sandhi rules.

2. Some others did the same when they were forced to memorize the declension table (raamah raamau raamaah etc.). 3. Few others escaped when syntax rules and case-endings were brought before them.

4. And the class was almost empty when taddhita (formation of noun-bases from other noun-bases) rules were introduced.

-A teacher has to have the clarity that why he/she has chosen to be teacher.
-A teacher must be aware of the very purpose of life and education and must always have an intense aspiration to rise towards the realization of that purpose. 1 -If the very purpose of the education is to realize one's highest perfection, the ever perfect nature of the Atman, then teacher is expected to be a self-realized person to guide and lead the students on the path of self-realization. 2

When Arjuna was shaken by Srikrishna’s rebuke, he became aware of his weakness -the kārpaṇya-doṣa that had affected his whole being & says: 4/1 कार्पण्यदोषोपहतस्वभावः पृच्छामि त्वां धर्मसम्मूढचेताः।
