I have just submitted evidence to the Scottish govt's Inquiry into the census, which closes 12 August.

My submission was based on a survey of gender-critical Scots who used the survey to protest.
This is what I said 1/ The survey launched 1 June and by 1 August had 654 responses from those who used the census as an opportunity for a co-ordinated protest against @scotgov decision to allow self-ID in questions about Sex and also wider issues relating to the GRA 2/

Very excited that this is finally the week in which my book comes out! In it, I place @MumsnetTowers within a wider grassroots women’s movement and as a safe space for gender-critical feminists 1/ I discuss what I see as a cooperative collaboration between grassroots organizations such as @Womans_Place_UK @ForwomenScot @FiLiA_charity @fairplaywomen 2/

Was saddened by the comments of many of the teens in 1980s - I don’t remember having those opinions and 2/

Written some time before #IWD2020 but nonetheless, nice to see this column appearing. Mentions @holyroodmandy and also the wonderful mural celebrating Aberdeen women by @carriereichardt 1/ In particular, I would like to highlight Marian Farquharson, of whom few will have heard. Marian fought for women to be allowed to join the Linnean Society. After many years of campaigning, the Society finally agreed that women could join 2/

Some thoughts about Mumsnet and gender-critical feminism. One of the reasons Mumsnet is keen to continue supporting this discussion is that it is both popular with many of its core users and attracts new users to the site 1/ In July 2018 Mumsnet shared the information that there had been a 12 fold increase in the no. of people entering the site directly via the Feminist Chat topic. 2/
