This is sick and disgusting. This can’t be legal or can it be? Does everyone who lives in FL agree with this? Is the creation of these laws being done purposefully to attract those he believes will vote for him in an election (Fed or state)? This is a dog whistle 🤬 Then there’s the secondary chaos that ensues in Nursing Homes, hospitals that already have patients in rehab, waiting for surgery etc., what about families awaiting documents legally? Are jails/prisons privately supporting this and who’s making a profit from it in the future?

I said recently, that although Tesla’s stock is going to be frustratingly slow going forward and will ultimately either continue to lose, investors will still buy the stock. They will buy at the point where they believe they can make $$

We’ve been informed by our Home Insurance company that unless we can prove to them that we have defensible space around our property (approved and signed off by CAL FIRE), they will cancel our policy.
This is how Insurance companies are preying on home owners b/c of fires

OK, for those interested, I finished my poll work service at 9PM on the dot. We were told to get done by then and we did. Here’s why it worked for us working the polls in Shasta County:

1/ #1 we had enthusiasm going into this mid-term election from volunteers. 400 people volunteered and we had an average of 4 people per voting precinct. That is huge and I hope when 2024 comes around, we have the same enthusiasm. Poll workers make a difference

As Tuesday approaches and I begin prepping for my volunteer duty as an Inspector at a new voting precinct, I have to be honest.

1/ I posted some earlier tweets related to how many people have signed up to do poll work. In Shasta County, for this election, it was 400 volunteers. They are from all walks of life and the # in my training workshop was 50/50 (Senior/Younger).

 In 1974 (one year after I graduated from high school), Charles Koch founded the CATO Institute. It was a think tank of all think tanks which was focused on dismantling America’s social safety net. In an article from The Nation in 2011, Charles Koch privately championed Social Security to Fredrich Hayek, an author he wanted to come to the U.S., so that he could speak and write for CATO. His hypocrisy was noted in this article.
