***ELECTION ISSUE*** On Monday, the Governor’s Office received a complaint from the Yuma County Recorder expressing concerns about election policies recently prescribed by the Secretary of State's office that violate state law. 1/ The Recorder stated: "I feel strongly that the recommendations diminish security and integrity and I do not feel I'm able to accommodate any such requests for the recommended procedures." There's an interesting story to tell about Gov @dougducey's picks for @AZRegents. He seeks out good people to serve -- often these are individuals who never thought about serving on the Regents, but who have so much to offer. 1/ As a result these are people who aren't so much interested in the title or prestige of the position (they didn't lobby for it); they're legitimately interested in public service and bringing their experience to the board. 2/

Excellent job by @recobbforazrep on Sunday Square Off talking about equal opportunity in education for students on the Navajo Nation. This is about kids and allowing their parents to pick the best option for them. @recobbforazrep Those who want to deny these children educational opportunities and pull them out of the school of their choice are intentionally misleading people on this issue.

"The real plaintiff in this case was Wake... Wake’s most recent decision isn’t a dispassionate ruling on the law by a judge. It’s a political screed about education funding... And a screed that contains factual inaccuracies, misleading statements and judicial irrelevancies." .@RJRobb fact check: "Wake described the tax cuts since the 1990s as 'endemic,' which is the language of an advocate, not a judge. The judge asserts that the state skipped inflation funding for 'a dozen years.' Actually, it was just three."

This is about a narrow and specific issue faced by Navajo children and their parents who want to continue attending the school of their choice, a half mile from their home, on THEIR sovern nation. The real question for those who don’t support these kids continuing to go to the school of their choice is — WHY? What reason could you possibly have to take their kids out of their school — within their nation — that is in any way defensible?

This video is very interesting, and perhaps, illuminating. Here's why... It appears to be taken inside the Pima County Democratic headquarters, as you see in this screen shot. You can see the banner in the back. Image

Oh, David… You must feel so good about yourself for running such a positive, fact-based campaign, focused on “hope for all, and not the fears of a few. Right from Day 1.

Some examples… 1. Got off to a great start…

If this isn’t a story, I’m not sure what is… 1. Yesterday, on @MeetThePress with @chucktodd, David Garcia @dg4az confirmed that Kyrsten Sinema isn’t endorsing him, and he isn’t endorsing her. He said that’s how Dems in #AZ do things. Huh? Since when? How does deep division HELP Dem turnout?

Good morning! ☀️

We learned a few things in the #AZGov debates this week: 1. @lorrainerivera, @tedatpbs and their respective teams are pros at debates. They provided very balanced and professional forums for the candidates to present their ideas and make their cases to Arizonans.

"David Garcia, the Democratic candidate in the Arizona governor's race, has touted his record as a teacher, but he only taught three classes this year, and only one of those in person — and that class lasted only 6 weeks." @dg4az @sjev0 @azdemparty "Garcia also laments that teachers are not paid enough, but he made more than $30,000 more than the average teacher salary in Arizona this year." @dg4az @sjev0 @azdemparty
