Reminder: We're heading into a digital world that will be void of 3rd party cookies. If you are an FB/IG ad buyer it is important that you have the Pixel & CAPI in place on your client's sites. CAPI will "in-time" pick up the bulk of events as the pixel's ability diminishes.
I think there is also some confusion on how this should be implemented.
If a client is on Shopify, be sure to set up the pixel and CAPI (currently only the purchase event is active) via Shopify's new Facebook Sales Channel App.

Had a call with our rep as we've had a lot of questions around Facebook's announcement of Shops and if there will be a fee to use them. (A Really Long Thread 😉👍)
First, Shops are not exactly new. If you set up a Facebook Page Shop back in 2016(IE: your catalog feed on display right on FB), this is basically that but improved. This rollout will give brands more customization/control in showing specific products, the look/feel of the Shop.

So what's helped us get there?
1. Email -This brand has a loyal email base and a huge repeat purchase ratio.
2. Relevant & Timely Ads. Speaking to the times but looking forward to more promising (and fun times) has helped us build on that desired need/want for the product.
