After independence, India started using Swiss developed ICF rail coaches from 1955. For many decades until the 90s, coach technology was not upgraded. ICF coaches were heavier, slower and less safe. Accidents over IR saw huge casualties.

On #KargilVijayDiwas, let's look at the destructive ideas of Chaudhry Rahmat Ali- one of the earliest to coin the acronym 'Pakistan'. In this thread, I assert that 2 nation theory was not just a religious division but a denial of India's nationhood,civilisation & ancient culture In 1933, Rahmat Ali wrote a pamphlet 'Now or Never' addressed to the Round Table Conference asserting that India was never a home of one single nation or having one common history. It was created for the first time by British. Sounds similar to ideas of some people, doesn't it?
