.@IrishTimes with a nearly 4,000 word feature on how bad it is to be a landlord in Ireland, calling for cuts in regulations, guaranteed profits etc. Did I miss a 4,000 word feature on tenants lying awake at night fearing eviction for them and their children? #HousingCrisis
I'm not quite sure what 'subsidising' means here, I think that the landlord is subsidising their tenants because they don't make a clear profit? The tenant in this case will still pay the bulk of the mortgage and take ownership of a very valuable asset.
