A word about the movie #Contagion: I thought it was fantastic when it came out. It’s even better (and scarier) now that I've rewatched it during a #pandemic like the one it portrays. Fortunately ours isn't as deadly; the fake disease had a 25% mortality rate. /1 The makers of #Contagion consulted with scientists, the #WHO, and Dr. #SanjayGupta to ensure it was an accurate representation of a #pandemic and best practices. In other words, this #Hollywood movie crew was better informed than our current #WhiteHouse. /2
