The poll results were quite clear, so here's a thread: It began with dreams while is was 2-4 years old, and ended with an experience at night that I still think about all the time.

It was always the same dream. A spider would crawl onto my pillow, and then I would instantly be transported to a beach, where enormous waves were coming.

A creature that looked like a cross between the grinch and the Dr. Suess cat would help me fly up over the waves - my toes would touch the water rushing by below. (Continued)
