Reject any proposed police department budget expansion, and implement the highest possible budget cuts every year until the budget is reduced to zero.

Cut all police salaries until they are reduced to zero.

Abolition is not about anarchy, or absence of accountability

As Ruth Wilson Gilmore said, it’s about the presence of life-affirming institutions

We decrim victimless “crimes”

And hold perpetrators of true crimes truly accountable to the people and conmunities they’ve harmed Through reparative, transformative justice, victims and perpetrators (who’ve typically been victims themselves) are repaired and transformed through mediation, rehabilitation, and service to the community
