It seeks to replace the older Drug & Cosmetic Act, 1940 to reflect advancements in science & technology.

We're live with Ambassador @ShivshankaMenon ! On the agenda are the changes to the global order in the last few decades, challenges to societies and polities posed by the COVID-19 global pandemic, transformations in India's neighbourhood, and what India's strategy needs to be.
According to Ambassador Menon, the three big things that India needs to do in the coming years are: self-strengthening, especially on the border; searching for balancing arrangements with other countries; and working simultaneously on a maritime and continental strategy.
