1/ What I find so markedly different about so-called Russian propaganda in comparison to the West is that when Russia makes a big claim, say like Pentagon-funded biolabs in Ukraine, they provide evidence... 2/ Now, I'm yet to fully go through the documents (over 23mb large) and haven't authenticated their veracity, but any journalist that omits the existence of these files without at least trying to verify them is not doing their job. disk.yandex.ru/d/62hsNB8kC7MX…

As many will be aware, the defence for Julian Assange delivered their closing submissions to the court a week on Friday. It goes without saying that – in the interests of truth, justice and transparency – this document should be available to all: tareqhaddad.com/wp-content/upl…
Like Mr Ellsberg eloquently stated in his witness testimony, Julian believes "in open government and democracy," and that it is his political belief in transparency, antagonising a US government that has increasingly become more secretive, that has spurred this prosecution.

Update from #Assange hearings: after District Judge Vanessa Baraitser asked Assange’s lawyers to check on him as her seemed tired. He then stood up to address the court: “I’m as much a participant in these proceedings as I am a spectator in Wimbledon.
“I’m having enough difficulty concentrating as it is. I can’t speak to my lawyers with any confidentiality. There is no point in participating in these proceedings if I can’t communicate with my lawyers without any privacy.

Yesterday I resigned from Newsweek after my attempts to publish newsworthy revelations about the leaked OPCW letter were refused for no valid reason.
I have collected evidence of how they suppressed the story in addition to evidence from another case where info inconvenient to US govt was removed, though it was factually correct.
