Because of my expertise re: #conservatorships, I am being asked to comment on the lawsuit filed by “The Blind Side” ex-NFLer Michael Oher against the Tuohy family, so here we go, a 🧵
Oher claims that he was never “adopted” by the Tuohys (as they have inferred or claimed),

and instead, he was tricked into a conservatorship around 2004. Also, that he was unaware of the c’ship until 2023.
My opinion? There are BIG pieces of information missing and it is too early to have an opinion.
What do I think is unusual in this case?

We do not think of Kanye in terms of needing a conservatorship b/c we do not see the same level of paternalistic oversight + control over men, as we do w/ women. A 🧵....
