A key challenge in AWM today is managing “discretionary portfolios” at scale. These portfolios allow PMs to consistently manage thousands of investors who have similar risk/return goals, by aligning them to different templates or ‘models’. But actually ensuring those investors are correctly allocated to the desired assets of the models is incredibly complex and manual. Rebalancing investor positions can take teams of people, multiple days.
