This week’s #OPCW Executive Council takes place just over a year since the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexey @Navalny. The UK and partners will continue to press Russia for answers. A short thread on why this is an issue in the @OPCW ⬇️🧵 #EC98 #Navalny fell seriously ill on 20 August 2020 on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. After an emergency landing, he received life-saving treatment in Omsk. Then on 22 August, he travelled to Berlin for further treatment.
