As a precautionary safety measure, in case of additional seismic activity in #PuertoRico, the water level at the #PortuguesDam is being lowered. #earthquakes (THREAD)
A team of USACE's engineers along with the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources are conducting full site assessments at the dam in order to assess the status following a series of earthquakes, to include one of 6.4 magnitude earlier today. /2
