Today is the 29th day of September 2023, Igbos Worldwide will today celebrate Igbo Day. Igbo day to all Igbos is sublime. A day when Igbos In the busy and Bustle of life pause for a while, reflect on the past, examine the present, and peep into the future. A reflection on the past reveals a glorious and excellent record of achievements by our forebears in all aspects of life. Our forebears made tremendous progress in education, commerce, industry, sports, social development, and culture. Most of these gallant men and women have been recalled by the almighty God. They played a lot of parts in shaping our destiny and their memory lives on. Today the grateful Igboland will their profound appreciation to some legendary Igbo sons and daughters. They will be honored and from today their name will be enshrined in the Museum of Igbo History and Hall of Fame of Igboland which will be built here in Enugu state.
I carried out a comprehensive study on Igboland, the study covered every aspect of the economy including Agriculture, Commerce, Trade, Education, Culture, Youth Development, Employment, and Skill Acquisition. The outcome of the study was very promising and I was able to see from the rubbles of our past experiences and mistakes, a new Igboland roaring in prosperity anchored in peace and unity.
I therefore set up the following Committees: 1. Committee on Education 2. Committee on Culture and Tradition 3. Committee on Youth Development, Employment, and Skill Acquisition 4. Education Trust Fund 5. of Business Leaders
The Committee on Education is chaired by Prof. Nebo Former Vice-Chancellor University of Nsukka and Former Minister of Power. Education is the bedrock of the progress made by Eastern Nigeria in Economy, Agriculture, and in
The Committee on Youth Development and Skill Acquisition is chaired by His Excellency Sen. Chris Ngige Former Chairman Aka-lkenga and former Minister of Labour and Productivity. This is a very important Committee that will help to create gainful employment for the Youths in other to arrest the Youth's restiveness. The Committee on Culture and Tradition is chaired by our highly respected Traditional leader HRM Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe the Obi of Onitsha. All Chairmen of traditional rulers in the five Igbo States of Southeast are members of this committee.
The department of Igbo Studies at the University of Nigeria Nsuka, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Gregory University Uturu, and Imo State University have seats on this Committee.
This Committee will examine our festivals, harmonize Iri-Ji festivals and Kola nut Kola-breaking rituals, and set up a unified calendar for all festivals in England. They will also carry out a deep study on the family and character education of our children according to Igbo Culture and Tradition.
Today things are not as rosy as we expected, there is hardship in many families, many school leavers are unemployed, many businessmen are having difficulties, and infrastructures required for good, quality of life and success in business such as electricity is at best epileptic.
Many of the industries that created employment for our teaming youths and school leavers are moribund. These industries include the glass industry at Aba. Textile Mill at Aba, Ceramic industry at Umuahia, Poultry at Avutu Obowo, Paint and Rasen industry at Aboh Mbaise, Soft drink production in Igbos are dispersed all over the world. I have Onitsha, the Steel industry at Enugu, Asbestos industry at Enugu, Coal industry at Enugu, the Cement factory at Nkalagu in Ebonyi State, Donlope and Michelin factories in Port Harcourt Rivers State, etc. On assumption of office, I was confronted by a scepter of hopelessness in every part of Igboland.
We have set up a committee on the formation of the Council of Business Leaders. The Chairman of this Committee is Chief Sam Ohuabanwa. Many other prominent businessmen of Igboland are in this Committee and therefore restructured Ohaneze Ndigbo.
We now have Ohaneze Structures in the following Continents:

Tell us what you think. #Thread. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
He explained that the Agenda for Anambra was designed based on the understanding of the State's SWOT.
Pointing out the we have commercial and industrial hubs, Markets, good road network but fall short on the dearth of Human Capital, mostly reside outside of the state, etc.

Thank you for your prompt response.
I'm only doing my job as an active citizen of the state who's concerned about the reports and complaints from those involved.
After reading your response, here is their reply;
"The response from the commissioner's handle is not true.
First there is no active Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education as of now.
The commissioner has hijacked the entire process of book review. This is solely to make money, and nothing else. There has never been a time book review is done yearly".

Hello, @CCSoludo, I want to bring your attention o the corruption going on in Anambra Ministry of Education.
Are you aware that they surreptitiously employed teachers who didn't write the test, after the initial set of teachers were appointed. 2. It was allegedly done by ASUBEB & PPSS. The commissioner tried to resolve it.
In one event, she was said to have told them that she is aware of what they did but she wouldn't want to bring it up to Gov cos there'll be consequences, and she doesn't want to start on that foot.

Hello @CCSoludo , I wish to bring to your notice the corrupt practice ongoing under Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh; Anambra State Commissioner of Education.
The commissioner has unfairly called for another book review exercise despite the recently approved books for Primary School
yet to elapse till 2026, and the one for secondary school still a year to run.
Now, the maximum amount paid for the existing Primary school exercise three years ago, that is still running is N120,000. While the maximum amount paid for the Secondary school edition is N150,000.

Ladies and Gentlemen see the industry around the blue crates, that’s the so called “worthless investment”.
This was taken 5months ago by @Ubanized
NB: Peter Obi is responsible for attracting over 80% of industries operating from here.
This is the investment we have been talking about . This place used to be bush and criminal hideouts.
Peter Obi converted it into industrial estate and attracted Sabmiler brewery right there.
It has over 200 companies(big, small and medium) and Sabmiler is one of the biggest.
