1/8 Frax Finance launched $FPI. What's that about?
$FPI is a stablecoin-of-sorts which aims to be resistant to inflation. By tracking the Consumer Price Index, $FPI preserves holder's purchasing power. If inflation is 10% yearly, the price of $FPI would also increase 10% yearly. 2/8 So, if the price of $FPI is $1.00 today, it would be $1.10 one year from now.

$FPI uses a Consumer Price Index Oracle to track inflation. The data they use comes straight from the government, so there’s no “gaming” the system.

CEXs

A CEX is a type of cryptocurrency exchange that is operated by a company that owns it in a centralized manner. Behind a CEX is a for-profit company. CEXs are, basically, online trading platforms that match buyers and sellers via an orderbook.
