I know a lot of you don’t know the new INEC voting process yet. I voted some months ago, so let me explain.

- At the PU, your name appears on a list. A ballot with your number is handed to you.

- Your card is scanned. Your fingerprints taken (I don’t remember).

👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 - You’re told to stand and your selfie taken. After this, then you’ll cast your vote.

Now, what this means is that the face in the selfie must match your scanned Voter’s Card.

The possibility of rigging this is nearly ZERO.

I was at a SARS station yesterday where all the officers strongly argued with me that trading bitcoins is illegal.

Not that they are in denial, they genuinely believe it’s illegal.

There’s a lot to do with the Police in Nigeria. A lot! The guy in question was almost driven to the EFCC office in Ibadan because they wanted to “treat his fuck up” for not cooperating. Crazy scenes.

I won’t tell my part or what I achieved but dude is free now.

Twitter was Banter Central until a group of idiots, led by Echecrates and co, stratified twitter and called themselves—what was that stupid name again?

Yesssss, TBH Twitter.

I’ll give the chronology below. You see back then, all we just wanted to do was laugh and play around. A joke was a joke. There were hardly fights. No one needed to be “smart”. We just wanted to play.

Then a select few rose and formed a group they dubbed “TBH Twitter”.

Guys, you see, SARS isn’t our problem in the police. You know the problem? The top bosses: 2 1/C, Area Commander, DC, AIG, CP.

For instance, a typical Area Commander demands up to 500K from field team in the Area Command EVERY WEEK.

Some commands have up to 10 teams. If a team does not deliver money as required in 2 weeks, such a team will be dissolved and replaced with a new team.

The top bosses don’t want to know how they make the money, but every Friday they must submit their payments. IN CASH!

While we can fault the way Nigeria was formed, we can’t ignore the obvious reality that equality was expected from the formula of our country’s creation.

This means that each zone gets a fair representation in federal parastatals. People should be appointed into federal parastatals based on merit, I agree. However, we can’t wish away the expectation that each zone is realistically capable of providing anyone to step up when required.

Buhari stands for division but, worst of all, nepotism. Not to mention that nepotism is corruption on its own.

Nothing can be more terrible than a combination of nepotism and incompetence.

Below are some of the nepotistic appointments made by Buhari.

Thread! Minister of FCT, Musa Bello, used to be the MD of Northern Development Corporation.

His only claim of qualification to become FCT Minister is that his father is a long time friend of Buhari’s.

While it’s a relatively fun atmosphere that Atiku is in the US, we shouldn’t lose sight of the real problems at home.

We are still unsafe because Boko Haram has become stronger, armed bandits have ravaged states, and our soldiers aren’t catered for. We heard Buhari himself dismiss the welfare of our soldiers when asked in a recent interview. It is important that we have a leader who assumes responsibility and had respect and admiration for his citizens.

Hello Nigerians! There have been at least 250 terrorist attacks in Nigeria since June 2015.

Despite PresiDEBT Buhari’s claim that Boko Haram had been “technically defeated”, more Nigerians—and soldiers alike—have died under a man who promised changed.

THREAD. 2015

June 12—There were several nighttime raids on remote villages in the North East, in which 37 people were killed.

June 22—The Maiduguri Mosque Bombing. Two young female suicide bombers had strapped bombs to kill at least 30 worshippers at the start of Ramadan.

Last night on @NTANewsNow, I watched a really devastating documentary about the Becheve tribe in Obanliku LGA, Cross River. The documentary talked about the “Money Woman”.

Thread. You see, after watching that documentary (details of which I’ll mention in this thread), it further strengthens my opinion that the gender “fights” you have on Twitter is baseless, stupid and counterproductive. Counterproductive because IT HAS NO INFLUENCE!
