This week (9/29) marks the 50th anniversary of when Japan switched its diplomatic recognition of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to the People's Republic of China (China)

FY2021 budget request is an increase from FY2020 by $2.5 billion to $26.8 billion.

It was just a few years ago (FY2017) DOD's CFIUS budget was $11.9 billion.
