Rather than letting my bits of advice for #gamedev fall into the void, I've put together a thread for them that I'll keep updated every time I post something new.
Caveat: I'm not actually a dev, just a broadcaster with years of experience at promoting new indie games.

Got a Steamdeck to mess around with, and while a lot of games in my library aren't compatible at the moment- remote play runs like a dream.
Definitely an expensive setup to play PC games comfortably in bed, but I really do appreciate the freedom to be away from my office.
It's a bit longer than the switch, and a bit heavier too, but more ergonomic- so it balances out.
The sticks are a bit slick, which surprised me. Unlike most controllers, my fingers slide right off the tops. Not a big deal, but might be frustrating for reflex-heavy games.

Seeing as the Steam Next Fest is in 10 days, here are a bunch of possibly useful bits of advice for #gamedev who are hoping for some press coverage from the event, especially from content creators.
#1 - Always have a presskit ready and available, with high res logos as pngs, key art with & without branding, succinct gifs that show off major features, and easily accessible contact info.
Super bonus: high res pngs of characters helps a ton for YT thumbnails.
