#RailStrikes @transportgovuk released material showing how they agree a plan with train operating companies for handling strikes. Some material is highlighted in black. #FOI We are very keen to see people use our service to obtain information from Parish Councils. This new @ICOnews decision is concerning as it suggests a very low threshold for deeming requests to small Parish Councils an unreasonable burden ico.org.uk/media/action-w… @ICOnews We don't think responsible local campaigners, especially those seeking information which one might expect to have been published, should have their requests rejected. @ICOnews

So far today @WhatDoTheyKnow volunteers (assisted by @mySociety staff) have dealt with around fifty different matters related to the running of the service. Issues will keep coming in into the evening and overnight. Could you volunteer to help? mysociety.org/2018/10/19/hel… Today four volunteers have been active, and we’ve worked directly with around four members of @mySociety staff (other staff will have been working on keeping the organisation running, sysadmin, etc. developing the software which runs the site, which all helps too).
