On Dec. 1, @nknewsorg posted an article that contained false statements about Women Cross DMZ intended to undermine our reputation. We emailed editor @BryanBetts21 asking him to correct the misinformation. He refused our request. Just a few years ago, this would have been impossible, because director Bong Joon-ho was on a government blacklist.

We know because some of us were on it, too.

As recently as 2016 Bong Joon-ho was placed on a govt blacklist in South Korea aimed at curbing the speech of artists & activists, the same one that targeted us & prevented us from entering our homeland.
