It is now more than 12 months since Jolyon 'Angry Dad' Maugham KC and his (Not Very) Good Law Project were last able to celebrate one of their crowdfunders resulting in a positive outcome. 🧵 Image The Good Law Project's Net Zero 2 crowdfunder was launched in July 2023. So it is 22 months since they last launched a successful crowdfunder.

In fact, the Net Zero 2 crowdfunder is the *only* successful GLP crowdfunder launched since 1 January 2023.

But, for reasons I'll come to, I'm struck by something else: how the clip illustrates a turnabout in societal attitudes to the use of invasive medical surgery on children - all thanks to gender ideology. 🧵 Only two decades ago, my wife and I, and other parents, were labelled as 'child abusers' by the NSPCC, trade unions & activists for allowing the NHS to provide our profoundly deaf infants with a cochlear implant (CI) - a 'bionic' hearing system requiring serious cranial surgery.

Sorry for the delay - got distracted by the day job. The first set of quarterly ET stats since the abolition of #ETfees in July are out, and here's a chart. 🤓 1/n
