On 3 June, Jolyon Maugham KC and his @GoodLawProject launched a crowdfunder in support of their intervention in the High Court, where the @EHRC's landlord was - later that same day - seeking an injunction against protests outside the EHRC's office by Trans Kids Deserve Better. 🧵 Somewhat unusually, the crowdfunder was launched on @CrowdJustice, rather than on the GLP's own website (as has been the norm for several years now).

And the first donor was 'Jo', as Jolyon Toby Dennis Maugham KC sometimes styles himself. 🤔 2/n Image

And ... not content with one stunningly hypocritical data grab (see my 🧵 of 9 June, below), Angry Dad and his Good Law Project have now launched another one. 👀

A short 🧵 Image As with the 'EHRC consultation' data grab launched by Angry Dad on Sunday, the GLP will receive a copy of the data of those who use the new tool to send an email to their local MP, about a mass lobby on 25 June organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance. Image

It is now more than 12 months since Jolyon 'Angry Dad' Maugham KC and his (Not Very) Good Law Project were last able to celebrate one of their crowdfunders resulting in a positive outcome. 🧵 Image The Good Law Project's Net Zero 2 crowdfunder was launched in July 2023. So it is 22 months since they last launched a successful crowdfunder.

In fact, the Net Zero 2 crowdfunder is the *only* successful GLP crowdfunder launched since 1 January 2023.

What David Tennant said about Kemi Badenoch is clearly the main point.

But, for reasons I'll come to, I'm struck by something else: how the clip illustrates a turnabout in societal attitudes to the use of invasive medical surgery on children - all thanks to gender ideology. 🧵 Only two decades ago, my wife and I, and other parents, were labelled as 'child abusers' by the NSPCC, trade unions & activists for allowing the NHS to provide our profoundly deaf infants with a cochlear implant (CI) - a 'bionic' hearing system requiring serious cranial surgery.

The latest set of quarterly employment tribunal stats (Q2 of 2020/21) are out, and here's my quarterly graphic gift to @CasparQC

Given the ever-growing backlog (42,985 as of 22 Nov), we can expect mean age to increase further.

#ukemplaw #HR Image The latest set of weekly HMCTS management information (up to 22 Nov) was also released today, showing that new ET single claims/cases continue to outpace the ET system's recovery of capacity. So, the backlog continues to grow.

Sorry for the delay - got distracted by the day job. The first set of quarterly ET stats since the abolition of #ETfees in July are out, and here's a chart. 🤓 1/n
gov.uk/government/sta… #HR In Q2 2017/18, there were 7,042 single claims/cases, and 429 multiple claimant cases. That's a 66% increase in single claims/cases, compared to the previous quarter, and a 62% increase on the same Q in 2016/17. 2/n #ukemplaw
