• Legacy Free (recently active) API users will move to Pay-Per-Use with a one-time $10 voucher

• Basic & Pro X API plans will remain available with the ability to opt-in to Pay-Per-Usage

Today we are launching our new Twitter API access tiers! We’re excited to share more details about our self-serve access. 🧵 Introducing a new form of Free (v2) access for write-only use cases and those testing the Twitter API with 1,500 Tweets/month at the app level, media upload endpoints, and Login with Twitter.

We have been busy with some updates to the Twitter API so you can continue to build and innovate with us.

We’re excited to announce an extension of the current free Twitter API access through February 13. Here’s what we’re shipping then 🧵 Paid basic access that offers low level of API usage, and access to Ads API for a $100 monthly fee.

We released Twitter Developer Labs - a new program that enables our developer community to test new features + endpoints, and share feedback before we launch the next generation of the Twitter API. 🧵 Since Labs went live in March, we’ve launched 🤚 new releases for developers to test:

Study a sample of timely, relevant Tweets as they happen, with the newest release in Twitter Developer Labs. twittercommunity.com/t/new-sampled-… With this endpoint, you can extract signals from the public conversation, by sampling 1% of all public Tweets as they happen.
