1/ (of 13ish) Debunking Kadena “gotcha’s”: miners can insert bad blocks onto some chain -or- a miner can take over a specific chain and insert bad blocks.
No, this isn’t a problem but it was a common critique circa 2018 and it still comes up from time to time.
2/ Assumption A:
POW breaks down *anyway* when a single malicious group of miners has 51%. That’s just how Nakamoto consensus works.

1/ We’re excited to announce the release of @kadena_io’s Chainweb-Mining-Client.
This software allows #miners to mine to their own nodes, without going through a pool and paying the associated pool fees, mitigating centralization within pool servers. 2/ A longstanding “POW isn’t decentralized” argument is the need for centralized pools to mine efficiently.
With Chainweb-Mining-Client, Kadena could be the first pool-less protocol. No validator nodes (#POS), no pool servers (#POW), just pure mining and full nodes.
