queer folks are being stripped of our rights and now we’re being sued for writing stories trying to uplift and support queer kids.
i’ve been worrying about this for a long time and it has impacted not only my heart but choices i make🧵
the more popular my books get, and the more we’ll known i become, the worse things will get for me.
this month i turned down a VERY cool and fun opportunity for a tv show (for me, NOT my books) and i was too scared of so many people knowing i exist.
