I disagree with this. AM never set out to make himself “god-like” and that he was the only hero worth anything. AM literally only wanted to help as much as he possibly could, and did so. The PUBLIC were the ones that put him on a pedestal. The heroes were the ones that+ -never tried to step up to the overwhelming burden on AM’s plate. He was always the “back up” plan. If the heroes couldnt take care of the villain, they could always count on AM to come finish the job. Nobody quite understood everything he did even everyday to keep their country+
