because I had this extreme mindset of ignoring small details and trying to play along as the situation unfolds

this approach works out well for smaller scenarios, but for high stakes+ +but for high stakes, you can't just have this avoidance mentality, it works against your best interests, more like a self fulfilling prophecy that "things don't work out for me", "pehle se pata tha ye aisa hoga"

Do your basic due diligence, don't be caught blind +

in the platform I work, there's a module with no ownership (no EM/PM), it exists from legacy code time

most teams wanting to use downstream payload from that service complain that it doesn't have enough attributes to give structured data, etc.

every team that needs this data has found some custom hack that only works for their custom use case.

no one in longest time bothered to solve it universally/re-architecture because this is a back-end admin service, won't get visibility by mentioning in appraisal/resume +
