Regarding the completion of temple.

3 stages are important

1. Vastupurusha Sthapana
2. Prana Pratishtha
3. Purna Kalasa Samsthapana

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 1. Vastupurusha Sthapana (Square Mandala) is done before the construction of temple to decide the "Brahmasthana" which is Garbhagriha. This is core & from here everything radiates.

2. Once Garbhagriha is ready, Prana Pratishtha can be done anytime before completion of shikhara.

I can see "Dollukintha" of Sanchara Kurubas, the one I come from. We Kurumas in Telanagana are no more Sanchara, has a little different version called "Oggu Katha" - the ballads of our god "Beerappa" (a form of Shiva).
@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 @hamsanandi In continuation to the above, Writing a thread on beautiful culture I am brought up in, the less known colorful "Kuruma" culture of Telangana.

Romila Thapar in her "Early India", hardly wrote two pages on Architecture but with full of lies & propaganda.

1. Buddhist Rock cut caves are stunning achievements - making readers believe that there were no such achievents prior buddhism.

Since I come from Rural Telanagana let me mention some tasty food items.

1. Nothing can beat Jonna Rotte & Puntikura combination in the mornings and evenings.

2. Jonna Sangati with Chintakaya thokku & Salla is best beat for summers.
1/5 3. During sowing & harvest times, Guggillu (boiled Bebberlu, Kandhulu, uluvalu) is a favorite munching item. The extract of the boil is the most tasty chaaru by my mother.

4. Chaddhannam & Perugu - Madikaya thokku in the mornings is so soothing to stomach

Such wrong infographics.
Pic - 1, How can be Sayana Purusha be compared with facade of a building?
Gopuram, which represent his feet is the entrance to prakaram. So, in the building where is the entenace?

Contd...
@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 Pic - 2, A Gopuram has odd number of storeys, topped with a Sala, flanked on both sides by Kirtimukha. Top of Sala are odd numbered Kalasas. Each with philosophical represnetation.

In the infographic, they picked up Saala and look how are they trying to justify?

While great building activity is happening now like Ram Mandir, Central Vista and upgradation of Airports & Railways, this is the best time to revive "Lost Indian architecture". But nah...
@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 Give it to MNCs full of modern architects with zero orientation towards "Indian Architecture".

Its not their mistake but the way they are taught without any touch with great "Indian Knowledge systems" that has generated humongous literature on Indian Architecture.

ā€œQutub Complex Interpretationā€

Though there is no need for validating ā€œHindu Temples under Islamic Occupationā€ like Vijayamandal, Adai Din Ka Jhopra, Atala masjid, Gyanvapi, Shahi idgah, Bhojshala, Qutub Minar etc, for its remnants are enough to prove they are Hindu Temples
1/10 Here are few elements from Qutub Complex & their Interpretation.

Pic 1 - is the entrance to Quwwat-Ul-Islam with Hindu elements like Kirtimukha, Ghantika, Sushni and Grasapatta.

Whenever a hindu genuinely talks about "Islamic occupation of Hindu temples", Seculars who mock Hindus connecting it to "Development, Schools & Hospitals" do not really have any idea of "Religious Nature of India".

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 Either they are brainwashed or are ignorant of their own History.

India always saw religious turmoil through out its history post Islamic Invasion.

Infact Islamic invasion itself is on the foundations of "Hindu Genocide" & "Hindu Temple Desecration".

Ler us look at the differences between Mandir & Masjid:

1. Mandir is representation of Human Body (Vimanam Purushakaram - Silparatnakosa-6) where as a masjid is just a shelter to a congregation.

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 @ShefVaidya 2. 14 parts of vertical mandir represent the 14 parts of Human body (Anga chaturdasam kyatam dehe cha sikaropi cha - Silparatnakosa-1) where as a names of parts of masjid are just utilitarian in nature.

Let Hindus talk about it first & save themselves from conversion mafia.

They have reached my home with a Bible, they will reach your home too.

A thread... I was introduced to a Christian, happened to b Telugu by my student. Made a courtesy visit to his home & exchanged number with few other Telugus there. First thing happened to me is to sit for a prayer with them that evening. That's my last talk to him.

*He is a famous teacher.

Wrong comparison. Both are Hindu Monuments. There are many points to prove Qutub minar as Hindu.

Some simple points... 1. If Sultans built so grand edifice, Self obsessed Sultans couldnt build Royal palace for themselves in the place?

2. They must build it from the scrap after destroying the Jain & Hindu temples there, but the Minar intricacy cannot be brought on the scrap. So it existed already

This 1000 years old majestic ā€œVaikunta Vishnu/ Vaikuntha Chaturmurtiā€ is from Lakshmana Temple Khajuraho.

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 @narendramodi @PawanKalyan @kishanreddybjp @M_Lekhi Image Vaikunta Vishnu/ Vaikuntha Chaturmurti was once worshipped widely in Kashmir region.

Though finding him in other parts of India is rare, this one from Madhya Bharath indicates about his worship out of Kashmir too.

The temples that were never consecrated...

The earliest and finest Rock-Cut Temples are the "Pancha - Vimanas" of Mamallapuram.

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 @TheSaveTemples @wiavastukala @narendramodi @prahladspatel They are locally called "Pancha Pandava Rathas", though they have no relation to the Pandavas.Ā

The one visible here is the "DharmaRaja Ratha" or the proper "Dravida Vimana" carved incomplete under the patronageĀ of the Pallava King NarasimhaVarman I.

Let's be clear on this.
There are three kinds of stones selected for Sculpting the Murtis in our temples.

Pumshila, Strishila & Napunsaka Shila.

Thread...

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 @TheSaveTemples @wiavastukala @priya_27_ 1. Pumshila when hit with a stone sounds like Metal Iron. This stone is used for making the "Moola Viraats" (Main deities) of temple.

That's the reason, all the Moola Viraats make such sound.

Pumshilas are strong, suitable for making Life Size Murtis.

As we think #FreeHinduTemples is not just the issue. The Temple Problems are Multi Level & Multi Fold. Mainly the way they are preserved, renovated & cared.

Many are not even aware of what's happening to Hindu Temples because of this draconian "Places of Worship Act".

Let's educate, create awareness among our circles & unite to fight for its repeal.

@ReclaimTemples @punarutthana @LostTemple7 After 1000 yrs of plunder, Ransack and Mutilation of Hindu temples & illegal construction of Masjids/Churches over the desecrated temples, PV Narasimha Rao Govt came up with "Places of Worship Ac" in 1991.
