In his live address to Minnesotans, Gov. Tim Walz said "we are in the midst of a significant surge in coronavirus cases." He said he wishes he could say this is unexpected, "but it's not." Walz said sacrifices Minnesotans made during the stay-at-home order and subsequent restrictions after that was lifted have bought them time and helped keep the state from using surge capacity that other states have, but cases are rising quickly.
