@jill_d35 @NoMoreStigmaMH (2) We've only been together a few months, so this intense period of living together has taught me a great deal about the brain injury he sustained from #ECT in 2015, and the impact this has had on his life. It is still has a huge impact now, in both of our lives. @jill_d35 @NoMoreStigmaMH (3) Andy was 45 when he had #ECT and he has lost more as a result of it than he could ever have dreamed. He had a good career, two degrees, was fit, climbed mountains, spoke 7 languages. Now he is unable to work due to cognitive impairment and has days when walking is difficult.
