The “moral vision” that holds sway and undergirds our laws now was produced by a combination of media, academia, and judiciary. It is not reflective of the native feelings of people but was imposed on the demos who then assimilated to it through incentives and conditioning. Some believe individuals are the source of their own opinions which are developed ex nihilo rather than those views being a distillation of the information they marinate in and incentives they experience.

I'm a bit tired of the Johnny-Come-lately types that complain about #DezNat. That find fault with the methods it uses. That take potshots at its foibles and failures from the safety of the sidelines. Ever willing to denigrate those defending the faith. Rarely raising the same objections at the ravenous wolves trying to devour the sheep, while angrily throwing stones at sheep dogs that at times nip a sheep, maybe too hard, to urge it to safety.

You don't know the half. Having seen these arrangements up close for over a decade now, let me say that any benefits are more than offset by the constant meddling of relatives in matters which in the Anglo culture would have nothing to do with them. One example from where I live: the norm here is for a married couple to move into the same house or compound with the groom's parents.

These precedents destroyed the ability of citizens to freely associate and created legal apparatuses to ensure all institutions were opened to all people in the name of equality.

Yes, there have been tremendous technological advancements. We're all grateful for them. But they do not in anyway offset the societal devastation that continues apace even as technology advances. Those arguing that better automobiles or cell phones makes up for intact family structures or wholesome communities not riddled with societal dysfunctions that were the stuff of sordid tabloids of yesteryear have missed the point.
