It's fair to ask whether Donald cut a side-deal with Netanyahu to refuse any hostage/cease-fire proposals until after the election, dooming Goldberg-Polin and the others. How many innocent people have died for Donald's desperation and vanity?
1) Yes, it's totally inconceivable that a convicted criminal fraud would do this knowing he attempted to extort Ukraine to investigate his 2020 political rival; ordered his DOJ to investigate his 2016 political rival; ordered his militias to overthrow the 2020 election...

🧵Thread: 1) Yesterday I ended up in a political conversation with a salesman who asked what I do for a living. Ended up being the second time in a week that someone told me offshore wind farms are killing whales. This is NOT TRUE. fisheries.noaa.gov/new-england-mi…2) He also told me Biden's spending caused inflation. I explained it's a global problem involving oil prices and demand due to supply chains, exacerbated here by Trump's tariffs and obvious price gouging (record retail profits etc). So much disinformation out there.

1) Thread. 🧵 If you're planning your next op/ed and you intend to scold both sides for violent rhetoric, think again and watch the following seven videos. Republicans have been producing violent ads targeting both legislation and actual Democrats for years. Let's review.
2) Here's another Greitens ad, in case he didn't make his point the first time.

🧵My copy of Photoshop was recently updated to include a feature called Generative Fill. It's an AI tool allowing users to replace sections of a design, or it can create an entire scene from scratch using prompts. I've been experimenting and have some thoughts... 1
Among the things I do, I'm a graphic designer with some decent credits to my name including major label album covers. So, I won't bury the lede: I'm blown away by the results but I still feel oogy using it. 2

Trump's self dealing and influence peddling: @JimGaffigan @joerogan

-200 special interests, businesses, foreign governments spent money at Trump properties. /1

I see voters qualifying their support for Dems by saying “it’s a flawed party but.” Fact: Every party in the history of civilization has been flawed. Water is wet etc. The Democrats are the last adults/Normals in the room. The alternative is chaos. Flawed shouldn’t be a thing. 1
If you’re seeking perfection in politics, your expectations are out of whack. Voting is about choosing a candidate nearest to the qualifications, experience, ideas required, and from one of 2 electable parties. The choice is almost always approximate, seldom a bullseye. 2

We need big money to finance a relentless anti-guns campaign for a few decades like the Truth Initiative's anti-smoking campaign. Strip guns of the allure, the masculinity, the cinematic aesthetic, the myths, the illusion of personal safety, etc. Emphasize mass death & terrorism.
Instead of waiting forever for a legislative solution, this campaign would directly undermine gun culture by reframing it from something noble, traditional, and sacrosanct to a deadly for-profit plague. And gun proliferators reframed as nuts, cowards, extremists.

I'm expecting some next level crazy in Trump's CPAC coke rant this morning.
"Darling? Is the wind blowing today? I'd like to watch television." Trump being deliberately stupid about green energy at CPAC.

Thread! Due to ignoramus Trump and poorly-informed pundits, too many Americans think the #ACA is nothing but the mandate, pre-existing coverage, and healthcare.gov. It's SO much more. If the O'Connor ruling stands, these items will disappear:
1) The Medicare Part-D doughnut hole that forced seniors to go without meds for part of the year is supposed to close by 2020 thanks to the #ACA. Repeal would re-open it. 2) Insurers *have to* cover maternity care, preventative care, mental health, lab tests, disability care...

TRUMP on KIM: "We've developed a very special bond."
Some of Kim's human rights atrocities:
-prisoners tortured and killed on account of their religious affiliation, with officials instructed ‘to wipe out the seed of [Christian] reactionaries’;
1
-a prisoner’s newborn baby, fed to guard dogs and killed;
-an abortion induced by three men standing on a wooden plank placed on a pregnant prisoner’s stomach;
