@KashPrime You're correct, Kashif. The CO2 levels in the room were usually about 900-1000 ppm without doctors, nurses etc milling about. With the window open, it could be brought down to 800. When it was busy in the double room, it easily hit 1200 ppm and took ages to come down.

Public Health turned Politicians have left us on our own & there is no magic bullet. Individuals can only mitigate a moderate amount of risk.
Learning to "Live with COVID" is a goal that requires a collective response. In this so called Urgency of Normal, as people lose their resilience & choose denial over reality, collective action has been shunned and vilified, including by many psychologists & healthcare providers.

CO2 monitors are a transformational tool in the PPE kit people need for accurate, real-time risk mitigation. I carry one everywhere now. They should be in every classroom when schools re-open for f2f learning. As with all PPE, there must be equitable access. A (20)22 tweet 🧵:

There are a variety of CO2 monitors to choose from. For accuracy, you want one with an NDIR sensor. They cost a bit more and are worth it. There are pros and cons to different models.
