You heckled remarks about burn pit exposure, an urgent health issue for post 9/11 veterans.

You can’t honor the memory of 13 service members killed in action by disrespecting the memory and suffering of countless others who have and will be affected by burn pit exposure. They’re being deprived health care and disability coverage.

There’s a bipartisan burn pit bill currently making its way through the House. You are not a sponsor of it.

I stand by my characterization of Sen. Paul and I’ll explain in a moment.

But first, on this letter from NIH, some important points: The virus that was studied in this research, per NIH, could not be the SARS virus that causes COVID-19 any more than Sen. Paul could be a chimpanzee.

“Where is the president? Why isn't he communicating fulsomely to the American people?”

Deputy NSA Jon Finer: The president has been deeply engaged in all of the policy conversations … The president has spoken to this issue a number of times in recent weeks. “Why isn't he out there now? Kabul fell yesterday. Where is the president?"

Finer: Again… the president has spoken on the this extensively and I expect he will speak to it again soon.

Until I started dating someone in the military I effectively ignored the actual reason for Memorial Day.

Now I’m married to a service member and the holiday settles over my house like the anniversary of the death of a loved one, which I think most civilians can connect w/. 1/14 Six years ago, I closed out a show on Memorial Day with a moment from the commemoration at Arlington Cemetery and these comments from General Martin Dempsey: 2/14

A huge win for military rape victims: The Supreme Court just unanimously overrode the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces decision that set military rapists free. My colleague @CNNValentine brought this story to light last year with tireless reporting. Justice Alito wrote the opinion, Justice Gorsuch wrote a concurring opinion that notes he disagrees SCOTUS has jurisdiction over CAAF but agrees on merits of Court’s decision, Justice Barrett sat out consideration and decision. supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf…

Across the country, election workers and officials risked their health so Americans could vote during a coronavirus spike. Tonight, many are in quarantine after being exposed to the virus. In Westmoreland County, PA — an election worker tested positive yesterday, four days after election workers there made the call to see the election through instead of quarantining despite exposure to another election office worker who tested positive.

Thanks for posting this link, Mercedes. This is actually the data I referred to in our interview today so I’m glad anyone who is curious can click and see just how few cases of voter fraud occurred in their state during the 38 year span of this data base.

A few facts... Nevada, your favorite mail-in voting state, had six instances of voter fraud over 38 years, none related to mail-in voting, which the Heritage database allows you to search by.

Today on my show @TimMurtaugh made the false and irresponsible claim that hydroxycholorquine is safe and effective. It’s neither. He cited only one study, because there is only one study out of a large body of research that shows a positive result - and experts suspect its wrong. That’s because patients who received hydroxychloroquine were much more likely to have also received a steroid, which we now know *is* an effective treatment for Covid. This article breaks it down: cnn.com/2020/07/02/hea…

When your name is *on* a white paper that advises against masks and social distancing in a full reopening of schools you can’t really distance yourself from the recommendations - but @DonWagnerCA did try today. #OrangeCounty Image The Orange County Board of Education adopted K-12 recommendations against reducing class size, socially distancing and wearing masks. When congress passed tax reform, it inadvertently imposed a hefty tax on kids who have lost a parent to war or service-related injury or illness. The survivor benefits of Gold Star children are now taxed at the same rate as trust funds and inheritances. cnn.com/2019/10/28/pol… In today’s Home⭐️Front column I tell the story of the Fry family. Gunnery Sgt. John Fry was an explosive ordnance disposal technician in the Marines. He had been disarming an improvised explosive device in Anbar Province when it exploded in 2006.
