I often get asked about spaghetti charts & rotations because it's quite a niche way of trading.
So I'll do my best in this little thread to break it down.
Likes, RTs and all that appreciated.
What's the goal?
Find and long the strongest performing asset.
Why?
Well, if it isn't obvious, they tend to offer the best % returns and are 'easier' to trade on the basis that their momentum carries them up and to the right.
How?
That's a bit more lengthy...

I've been here since 2017 and spent thousands of hours in this space.
Here's something I've learned for every year I've been here - as it was fun to do on stream the other day.
Stay a while and listen, friend.
2017
Clueless and retarded.
I learned how much greed and speculative premium are ripe in crypto.
I learned that we trade attention mostly and ideas; so applying my former skills looking at discounted cashflows of projects was... dumb.
Those who remember "Disney coin" aka $DRGN will have a fond memory of how a dumb narrative can fuel ridiculous returns.

My thoughts on $PAAL: why I have a bag & think it's good project.
First thread I've done in a while so if you like it share it.
$PAAL is an AI ecosystem that enables anyone to create multiple AI bots for free and deploy them across platforms like Discord & Telegram.
The bot can research projects and execute trades for you.
So you're a terrible trader and didn't 100x your portfolio like everyone else in this move?
Lets take a step back and really look at things a bit more objectively, and hopefully make you feel a little better.
Firstly, trust no one. Not even me.
First screenshot? Taken from someone else... but I bet you assumed it was mine.
Secondly, this is the rest of that screenshot:

Off the top of my head, some $ALT areas I'd be interested in next cycle, or in an interim echo bubble.
1/N
$ETH - doubt I need to explain this one.

Thread on going 10X+ on $ALTS.
A memoir of a $RUNE maxi and how I:
a) made lovely returns (600x from first buys; but far less on average)
b) bag-held some -95%
I honestly thought I could bring my technical investment appraisal background (from corporate M&A) into this space... how wrong I was!
Anyway...

When I'm scalping $BTC on the 1-15m I usually take the higher timeframe context into how aggressive or not I trade.
What do I mean? Pretend I longed here off a clear momentum shift (they are NOT valid divs).
Is this a reasonable target? Hold forever? Generational bottom?
If you zoom out a little, the hourly is in a clear downtrend.
Very simple - very easy to see.
Now - are you a bottom catcher or a trend follower? Do you keep shorting this or are you looking for reversals?

* Thread - Using Spaghetti to gauge when to risk on/off with $ALTS *
Gauging Altcoin reactions to large #Bitcoin moves is actually easier than you think. Let's take these 4 $BTC dip and run through.
RT's appreciated.
(1/6)
Dip 1: Looking at the initial reaction, you can see pretty explicitly that the market was not risk-on with alts. This was one of the main reasons I continued playing shorts on alts and looking for further downside.
Here's why I'm so bullish on it and expect such a return:
Team
The core team themselves have been working for AIOZ for over 5 years each; focusing not only on blockchain technology but AI products. They have won several hackathons and even have patents that they are not applying to support decentralisation.

Relative strength in action.
$THETA and $MATIC pumped.
Take them out, what's next? $SOL / $VET / $ADA.
$SOL / $BTC
Breakout -> retest -> acceleration.
This chart will look like the $THETA chart soon.

* My learnings, threads and personal approach to crypto *
Going to stick this as my pinned tweet and leave anything I think is useful in a thread; particularly for new people who follow me.
This is me, what I do an how I approach the market.
I am lucky enough to have the time to be able to dedicate myself to different ways of extracting value from this market.
So a little thread... here goes !
Roughly, it’s split equally like so:
-Scalping low timeframes (25%)
-Swing trading alts (25%)
-Investing in low market cap projects (25%)
-Holding spot BTC and ETH (25%)
I’ll cover each and some of the things that I think are key / I’ve learned.

January Trading Results – A thread. TLDR:
- 15 trades closed in the period, 7 still open.
- Win/Loss of 47% for a total account gain of 35%
- This does not include long term holds (e.g. $RVN, $THETA, $RSR)
- This does not include my scalping account, which I degen 10x $BTC

I started disciplined trading in December. I have usually bought quality projects (and some scams) and gone for x’s. I’m now journaling all of my trades and trying to hone this craft. I have already learned a LOT from simply reviewing my trades:
