See Royal Borough of Greenwich's public, overt, mis-stating of the law so that sex *in the Equality Act* means gender; gender reassignment means gender identity (Stonewall champion). @legalfeminist Sex is *completely gone* from their example 'Equality statement and monitoring questions' - and 'gender identity' replaces 'gender re-assignment'. Penny Mordaunt was a 'Stonewall LGBT Ally' in 2018. In fairness to her, how many of us were awake to the harms of gender ideology in 2018? Perhaps we would have been, and she should have been, more awake, if the Minister responsible? This phrase here, 'homophobic, biphobic, transphobic bullying' - should have been subject to greater scrutiny. Really? Help. I’ve just had the misfortune of reading the Law Commission’s proposals to reform communications laws in the UK. First step to exaggerating the harms of free speech is to come up with a pseudo-intellectual elaboration of its harms. First speech becomes a 'speech act' I mean did anyone ever, anywhere, argue that speech is merely 'inert words or ideas'? Of course not. Speech is active; it's for communication.
