In Matamoros, Reynosa & RGV, heard disturbing accounts from people seeking asylum and from humanitarian and faith workers/volunteers about horrific conditions & barriers to asylum. Spoke to single women, men, and families without phones having been extorted and robbed countless times in their journey to the border, now unable to access life-saving asylum protection because the USG has made CBP One the ONLY path to asylum under new #asylumban
