5 years after the defeat of the caliphate, more than 50,000 ISIS suspects and their family members are being held in a constellation of 27 US-funded camps and prisons run by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in NE Syria. We gained extraordinary access to a number of those facilities during a ten day reporting trip in the region.
2) We spent time in the Annex in Al Hol camp where roughly 6700 foreign nationals from more than 60 countries are currently detained. The women complained to us about the dire conditions in the camp and told us stories of their sons being taken away by the SDF as young as 11 years old. The SDF says the separation policy is necessary because the boys are being radicalized by their mothers and have training sessions in the camp.

For 7 months @Cigna hasn't reimbursed routine therapy for my son who has special needs. For 7 months, they have stonewalled me about why, even though the therapy is clearly covered in my policy. For 7 months, I have sat on hold, shuttled from operator to operator. At my wit's end
Does anyone have any ideas or has been in a similar situation? I feel like I am losing my mind. The thing that @Cigna does is that they don't refuse to repay you, they just say "pending" and with there's an "N/A" with explanation of benefits. FOR SEVEN MONTHS.

Thoughts from CNN takedown of a Russian troll farm operating out of Ghana and Nigeria.
1) Alarming that a group of 24 kids working on Samsung Galaxy’s (no laptops) at a big table were able to reach more than a quarter of a million people, mostly Americans, in just a few months 2) Also scary, that even after the fake NGO EBLA was raided by Ghanaian security forces, employees simply changed handle names, kept posting and held secret meetings on park benches to go over their social media “impressions” and targets

As we entered the town we found chaotic scenes with hundreds of civilians fleeing - streets choked with traffic and smoke from strikes
