I have an idea for a “retirement” project — become a consultant to advise institutions and individuals how to deal with criticism on social media. I jest. But if I were going to do it, here’s what I’d say. (H/t @imanimosley on whose timeline I originally posted this.) 1/@imanimosley 1. Act like a grownup. 2. Listen to what people have to say, and assess the criticism. Are you hearing one or two criticisms in a cloud of praise? If so, don’t let them get to you. Is everyone coming down on you?
