Ground report from my pulmonologist friend working at NY hospital ... #Covid. “These are truly unprecedented times. we are full disaster operations mode. We have seen a big surge of cases & the hospital is running out of beds & ventilators. Our surge icu we specially opened on many floors are already full. The worst hasn’t even happened yet bc it’s projected to surge in 1 month but we are already rationing our supplies and masks and gloves. 😿
Estimated we are running out of all PPE in 2/3 weeks. 🙀
