As climate change progresses, we see the continued stress on trees & a proliferation of pine beetles, resulting in sudden death of trees. I don’t live next to nat’l or state forest. All around me are privately owned lots. I’m on an acre, so are my neighbors on each side. #CA01 The guy behind us is on 5 acres. It’s thickly wooded. My next door neighbor on 1 acre had about 3 or 4 (maybe more) trees suddenly die. She cut them down. Over 6 years, we’ve cut down 7. There are dead trees across fwy from me. I’ll bet there are some on the 5 acres behind me.
