Triggers are anything that causes a reaction/induces a state. That's it. That's literally all it means.
A trigger can be anything that;
Sets off an allergic reaction
Starts a migraine
Induces panic, depression, or rage
Sets off a disordered state of being
A trigger can be something that causes a seizure, too.
It isn't always "scared/traumatized of/by x/y/z!" If someone asks for something to be tagged, it is not an invitation to mock them! It is DEFINITELY not an invitation to coyly shove that thing in their face! It's not funny!
