it’s funny everything is “elon” or “musk” now while everything pre-elon is just called “twitter.” can’t we all just agree that jack dorsey was also a huge joke & that being a shell of a human being was practically a prerequisite for running a tech company founded in the aughts. i mean sure that thing with Andrew Anglin today was pretty wild, but let’s not forget before $8chan we still had this guy… doing this stuff…

Trump had dinner w/ this guy Tuesday. Lots of outlets doing the Trump campaign's job of downplaying an ex-president sharing a table w/ a neo-Nazi leader w/ this classic "don't even know him" b.s.

This is huge for the white hate movement. They expect Trump to distance himself. You're helping this go according to plan Image

Elon Musk has revoked Twitter's hateful conduct policy as it applies to targeted harassment of trans people. Any language on its website stating otherwise is inaccurate.

Musk using eco-anxiety to dragoon workers into a crunch pattern, all to ship a product he hopes persuades skeptics he isn't piloting toward an iceberg. But I think the story is all but written. It's already more interesting to see crowds declaring paid verification has no value. Whether he can sell "verification" (soon to be misnomer) to his fanbase is a different story. But if enough currently verified people blow it off — and there's already social pressure to do so (see also: "dweebs") — it'll be interesting to see if abstaining confers more clout.

Pelosi attacker is a Trump supporter who watches Tim Pool, reads Ben Shapiro, and revels in Kanye’s attack on Jews. He’s a Q adherent who believes white Americans are oppressed and under attack — a conspiracy mainstreamed by Fox News and YouTube. These people used to be radicalized on fringe sites most people never see. Now it’s Google & network TV.

And Twitter. This article mentions a topic on this guy’s blog I noticed in a very… very anti-jewish tweet, which I just randomly mentioned in another thread a few hours ago Screenshot from LA Times article on the Pelosi attack mentioA series of extremely anti-Semitic tweets mentioning the “

Kanye didn't get "cancelled." Why are you putting his sh*t on everyone else? Nobody did anything to him. He did things to himself. We were all just going about our business trying to escape being bombarded by it every minute of the day. Kanye's "problems" lol wtf are you talking about. Kanye is Kayne's only problem.

Yeeep. Elon wants certain users here, but trying to acquit them of this delusion they're being politically repressed by ignoring hate speech will only drive his current heavy users away. The inverse just chips away at his popularity, making him another Big Tech Freedom Hater ImageImage Facebook ignored rules, even allowed bugs to persist, to keep conservatives from screaming "censorship." Of course, they did anyway b/c victimhood porn makes them rich/gets them elected. So conservatives still think Meta is conspiring against them. Meanwhile the UX went to $%@^. ImageImageImageImage

Homeland Security agents "scrambled" to Best Buy in 2020 to get laptops for new recruits with "barely any form of training," meeting up in a "parking lot" to begin work creating spy files on Americans protesting George Floyd's murder. Image DHS is a national police intelligence agency Congress spent a trillion dollars to create. And it tried to help sway an election by labeling political opponents terrorists so it could spy on anyone for attending a protest. It is a national security threat.

NEW: @Meta VPs Nick Clegg & Nicola Mendelsohn, and Cristian Perrella (apparently a UK-based trust & safety director) have been "inadvertently" identified in court as the individuals *accused* of taking bribes from OnlyFans in a lawsuit filed by adult entertainers. Story TK. An attorney representing the OnlyFans parent company (Fenix Internet, LCC) and its owner (Leonid Radvinsky) filed a petition today to delete an "incorrectly filed document" containing "confidential information" that was "inadvertently unredacted."
