In 2016, a conservative Republican convinced voters that he was a moderate - and won.

We can't let that happen in 2020.

The thinking that says Biden is the only candidate who can beat Trump is the same thinking that got us Tim Kaine. No shade to Kaine - he seems like a great guy. But you could see the focus-grouped thinking behind that VP choice:

✔️White
✔️Working class
✔️Catholic.

1/ ...in other words, Kaine was Biden 2.0. Imagine if Hillary had chosen somebody exciting & unexpected: Julian Castro, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren (who was much talked about for VP at the time). Imagine how energized the base would have been if Clinton had been bold.
