20 years ago today was my first day as a psychiatrist (Chase Farm Hospital. You could smoke in the mess).

Since then I’ve worked in general adult services caring for people with Severe Mental Illness (SMI).

What's changed? What's next? #20yearsinmentalhealth

So, as my first visit to #India draws to a close, a few thoughts.

5 things I’ve learnt, 5 myths I’d been told which I'd like to bust

First up, #5thingsivelearntaboutindia [THREAD]1/6 1. Indians LOVE selfies/groupies with random Western tourists. Literally no idea why but it happened all the time

2. Cows are EVERYWHERE. Also birds. Plus fair few elephants

3. Food. AMAZING. I ate almost all veg dishes. I AM paneer.
