I could MAYBE, on my VERY BEST WEEK, do an hour on Monday, half an hour on Wednesday, then in Hospital for extreme chronic exhaustion by Thursday...ON MY *BEST* WEEK.

I've just been told I need THREE spinal surgeries to stop me from becoming quadraplegic, as my spine is crumbling in multiple places, pinching my spinal cord, causing intermittent (FOR NOW) numbness in both hands & feet. Burning myself as I can't always FEEL what's hot & what's cold. Agonising pain every time I move. Also struggling to even WIPE MY OWN ARSE due to my EDS. Having

Disabled easyJet passenger dies 'falling down escalator' at Gatwick Airport

Their assistance didn't turn up, so they tried to make their own way. I said just DAYS ago that there would be accidents if this wasn't sorted. This is because Disabled people

Royal Mail workers to vote on strike action that could cripple deliveries

A 2% 'pay rise' is a REAL-TERMS PAY *CUT* when inflation is running at 9%, and is expected to hit 11% by the end of the year. #IStandWithRoyalMail @CWUnews

Workers DESERVE a pay

mirror.co.uk/money/jobs/roy… rise that MEETS OR EXCEEDS inflation, especially when Royal Mail made QUADRUPLE the pre-pandemic profit of £726 MILLION. Thats £726,000,000. And they're refusing to budge from a 2% pay offer.

This is PREDATORY GREED from bosses at this point, and we need to FIGHT for workers

Covid surge hits care homes and hospitals as 221 outbreaks recorded in Britain

I like the fact that @DailyMirror is starting to publish #StrandedPatients numbers, which is concrete evidence of how Social Care is failing.

#FundSocCare2FixNHS

mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/heal… 12,000 people are #StrandedPatients EVERY DAY.

Social Care needs a MASSIVE funding boost, given the ENORMOUS budget deficit caused by 12yrs of deliberate underfunding.

We also need Private Care bosses to #PayCarersProperly to end the shortfall. If people can earn MORE doing

Worker strikes 'not easy to organise' and need 'burning sense of injustice'

@The_TUC Are DEMANDING a fair wage for work. That meets or is above inflation. Workers DEMAND a decent standard of living, and to be brought out of poverty. 4 MILLION kids in

mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/t… poverty, most have a parent in work. Foid bank use going up & donations going down are leading to them running out of food & having to close without helping everyone that needs it. Teachers, Care Workers, Retail Staff, even our NURSES having to use food banks. 8.5 MILLION in

Dad dies in front of kids after 'disgusting' ambulance crew left him at home

An ambulance crew wrote off a strangulated umbilical hernia that KILLS someone cos they decided he was an alcoholoic & didn't 'deserve' hospital treatment. This happens more

mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/d… than you think; ALL medical staff attitudes to addiction & the addicted STINKS...you get the same LACK of treatment if you have a diagnosis of NEAD, which causes seizures. I have epilepsy, but when I was MISDIAGNOSED as having NEAD, I was left seizing to fall off a trolley with

New Covid wave may have been caused by Jubilee bank holiday, claims expert

Ummm...I don't often say "I told you so, but...

mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/n… And also, this is NEVER going away unless we work on a zero-covid strategy...worldwide. Obviously China knows something we don't... it seems OBVIOUS that they're including the 20% chance of getting Long Covid EVERY time you're infected, see it's a mass-Disabling event, and used

If I see just ONE MORE PERSON in this Country tell me there's ANY reason for NOT isolating when they've got Covid OR any other communicable diseases, imma find them AND THROW THEM IN THE FUCKIN SEA.

There's foodbanks. They deliver, and if not, ask your local Councillor for help. It's IMMORAL & downright SELFISH to go around spreading ANY illness that can KILL others - including flu as well as Covid, monkeypox, chickenpox...

And it is PERFECTLY plausible to not go outdoors while poorly; I've had to Shield since February 2020. I go out once a month. I

@disableddaddy @DrNeenaJha So? There's still a food bank, and food shopping doesn't cost more than £160/month max anyway...it's IMMORAL AND SELFISH to go to work with Covid, whether you're getting paid OR NOT.

If you are willing to infect people that can DIE of Covid, you're immoral & selfish if you do @disableddaddy @DrNeenaJha not do what it takes to protect them.

People need to remrmber it's called PUBLIC HEALTH for a reason - because it's LITERALLY impossible to manage the risks alone, and requires everyone working together to keep the #CEV safe. We shouldn't NEED laws & mandates to do so. It's just

@LWHead Thank you for involving the zone team. However, the person that came to help me was 'abused' (her words) by a neighbour of mine (you'll guess who if you think for 2 mins...) who proceeded to tell her it wasn't fair I was getting help, I'm just falling it, and why should I get 'special treatment'. I pointed out quite clearly that it's NOT 'special treatment', it's a reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act. And that if anyone conplained about it, they would have to dismiss the complaint as they are simply following the law. This neighbour is

I'm starting to believe that this has been done NOT to remove refugees (which would just be a happy side effect to them), but to stoke the culture wars to have an excuse to being in the 'British Bill of Rights' they tried (and failed) to bring in back in 2012 after ending the HRA this is EXACTLY what they'll do.

I keep saying, getting rid of Boris won't change the Tories path; two other PM's have been & gone since 2012, but the 'British Bill of Rights' is still VERY much Tory policy.

It aims to remove the Human Rights of refugees AND those that will
