2/ you care about patient safety. Not talking about the strikes, but about most nurses (and doctors) opting out of masking in their every day duties to protect CEVs who are highly susceptible to Covid.

are others being developed. Prevention is ALWAYS better than cure. Small molecule drugs require rapid intense therapy to clear virus. You could argue that folks with Evusheld have a similar scenario to most of the population, loads of Abs, never enough n'abs...😔...abs don't

It is time the @BBCFergusWalsh @BBCHughPym investigated why the a government refuse to procure @evusheld4theuk when the only people unable to live with #Covid are the clinically extremely vulnerable who don’t respond or can’t have the standard Covid vaccination.
The standard vaccines aren’t withdrawn, tested and adapted each time a new variant appears AND YET, the excuse for not rolling out #Evusheld is that it was approved before Omicron and more data is required. The real reason appears to be the Gov won’t pay for it.
If I see just ONE MORE PERSON in this Country tell me there's ANY reason for NOT isolating when they've got Covid OR any other communicable diseases, imma find them AND THROW THEM IN THE FUCKIN SEA.

can do EVERYTHING from my home, for 27+ days in a row. Isolating for a few days is the BAREST MINIMUM COMPASSION we should show our fellow human beings, particukarly those of us that are #CEV.

💊2/Tested 05/24, a faint T-line so once I saw Cov+ I knew had to act fast, due time sensitivity Paxlovid must be taken within 5-7d of symp (already helped dad get a box last wk)so I made calls to pharms to confirm who has ONE box(yes, seems many only gets 1 at a time) Found one
3/at Shoppers but within 5m they clbk that box is gone as just recvd a fax Rx for it. May hv 1 arrive 05/26. Next, get hold of a GP for prescription. My doc is overbooked, not avail til 26th. Called 1-888-Covid-19, person got my info, confirmed elig & said may take @Protect_BC

Every day, they are frightened to death, along with their families, that this might be the day, they bring the virus home that could kill Mum, or that they become sufferers of #LongCovidKids How is it ethical or even LEGAL to make our children's lives a living hell like this? 2/
Even if they are fortunate enough to dodge the bullet of SARS-COV2, the repercussions from being forced in to this terrifying situation every day alone, will have implications on their mental health for years, and that of their anxious families. 3/
